Taking place in the Louise Parker Berry Community Room on Thursday, Feb. 26, from 3-4 p.m., the program will be run by Becky Spratford.
This book group expert will explore five ways to re-energize book clubs. Participants will learn about what makes a good discussion and how to look at popular books through new perspectives.
Sprarford is an Amherst College alumna who has taught at the graduate level and trains librarians worldwide on how to run better book clubs.
She writes two critically acclaimed blogs, including Readers’ Advisory For All.
Spratford is a member of the steering committee of the Adult Reading Round Table, whose mission is to promote reading for pleasure through public libraries.
