Darien Chamber Offers Unique Auction Items At Wine Tasting

DARIEN, Conn. -- The Darien Chamber of Commerce will host its annual wine tasting and auction on Thursday, Oct. 23, with several packages available for bidding.

The event will be held at BMW of Darien from 6-9 p.m.

Auction items include:

  • Tickets to the Macy’s Day Thanksgiving Parade. 
  • Watch the CBS News and Scott Pelley Live from the Control Room with Jane Pelley. 
  • Dream trip to any regular-season game in the U.S. (any sport) includes air/hotel/tickets. 
  • Deluxe trip to Napa Valley air/hotel, etc. included.
  • No-stress train parking in a premium spot for one year.

Other items include: Jimmy Fallon show tickets; BMW Cruiser Bike; BMW Roadster Mini-Car; membership at Darien YMCA; artwork from well-known local artists; party packages for all members of the family; pampering packages; dine around Darien; and special wine collections.

Tom Geary, owner of Geary Gallery, will be the auctioneer.

The event benefits The Depot Youth Center, YWCA Darien/Norwalk and Darien Chamber Charitable Foundation.
