DARIEN, Conn. – The Atria senior-living center in Darien will host an art opening and wine reception in honor of featured artist Linda McKie McClellan on Dec. 11 from 5 to 7 p.m.
McClellan is a Connecticut resident who draws inspiration from the outdoors for her art. She recently has been working with oils, pastels, acrylics and mixed media.
She studied at the Tyler School of Art at Temple University in Philadelphia and at the Wooster Art Center in Danbury. She also has studied independently with Betsy Beach, Lisa Arnold, Dick Byrnes and Peter Konsterle.
The Atria center in Darien is at 50 Ledge Road in Darien. The public is invited to attend.
