The Family Literacy Center supports children and their families through playgroups and family events. Its mission is to provide literacy experiences for children from birth through age 6 and their families, as well as to improve their children’s success in school. By developing skills and knowledge in literacy and health, and changing behaviors and attitudes towards healthy living, the center will realize its vision that all children will be ready and successful in school.
