It's A Boy! And A Girl! And Another Boy: Chicks Hatch In Danbury Classroom

DANBURY, Conn. – Ten baby chicks were hatched in Tracey Scalzo's Morris Street School kindergarten class on Wednesday. 

The egg hatching project was one of the Educational Grants funded through Mayor Mark Boughton.

Scalzo said the project has been an exciting opportunity for her kindergarten class to learn about the life cycle. 

The chicks will be donated to The Hickories in Ridgefield in a few weeks.
