A New Canaan man was busted for attempting to enter a home after barking dogs woke up the residents inside, police say.
Daniel Julian Alexander, 45, was arrested around 2:31 a.m., Sunday, Sept. 15, after New Canaan police were called to a Main Street home for a report of a man attempting to enter the residence, said Lt. Jason Ferraro.
When police arrived, they found Alexander, who was displaying signs of being intoxicated and not cooperating with officers, Ferraro said.
He was charged with trespass, interfering with an officer and disorderly conduct.
Alexander was released on $500 bail and is scheduled to appear in court on Friday, Sept. 27.
