Man Calls Police After Being Shot, Drives To Hospital, Bridgeport PD Says

A man was shot in the shoulder and then drove himself to the hospital, Bridgeport Police said.

Police responded after the man called 911 to report he had been shot in the area of P.T. Barnum and Taylor Drive late Monday, Dec. 9, said Terron Jones, Bridgeport Police spokesman.

The man then drove himself to Bridgeport Hospital, Jones said.

Police did not find anything in the Taylor Drive area but are investigating.

The condition of the man was not known.
