DANBURY, Conn. -- A 15-year-old Danbury teen was robbed at gunpoint earlier this week by a man who said he wanted to buy the teen's four pairs of sneakers, according to the News-Times.
Danbury police told the News-Times that Jahki Scott, 18, set up a meeting with the teen in order to purchase the sneakers. But when the teen arrived, he said he wanted the teen to follow him to his cousin's house so he could make sure they were originals, said the News-Times.
When the teen followed Scott into the woods, Scott pulled a gun and stole the sneakers, according to the News-Times. Officers were able to located Scott in the area within minutes. He was charged with first-degree robbery and is being held on $25,000 bond, added the News-Times.
