DANBURY, Conn. -- A new report on criminal justice trends says violent crimes fell by nearly 10 percent in Danbury from 2013 to 2014, according to the NewsTimes.com.
The 9.7 percent drop comes despite a rise in assaults, the story said. Mayor Mark Boughton attributed the drop to a re-emerging local economy, NewsTimes.com reported.
