DANBURY, Conn. -- Danbury police struggled with a man before arresting him in connection with a shoplifting on Jan. 18 at Walmart, according to The News-Times.
When police arrived at the store at 67 Newtown Road security staff had the man in custody, said The News-Times.
Ricardo Andre, 32, allegedly attempted to exit Walmart and not pay for merchandise valued at $37, reported The News-Times.
Andre allegedly freed himself during handcuffing then exited the store running, reported The News-Times.
Police reportedly needed to use a taser before arresting him, according to The News-Times.
