DANBURY, Conn. - Riccardo Potenziani of Danbury died Feb. 19. He was 86.
Potenziani was born July 6, 1927, in Fumono, Italy, the son of Vincenzo and Anna (Campoli) Potenziani. Following his marriage he emigrated with his wife to the United States in 1956. A longtime resident of Danbury, he was employed with the Morganti Construction Co. for over 30 years until the time of his retirement. He was a parishioner of Saint Joseph Church, Danbury.
Potenziani is survived by his wife, Adelia (Del Monte) Potenziani; brother, Antonio Potenziani of Italy; and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents.
Callng hours are Monday, Feb. 24 from 8:30 to 10 a.m. at the Green Funeral Home, 57 Main St., Danbury. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. Monday, Feb. 24 at Saint Joseph Church, Danbury. Burial will be in Saint Peter Cemetery, Danbury.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the charity of one's choice.
