Amtrak Service Restored After Downed Power Line Causes Disruption

Amtrak train service in New York and Connecticut has been restored after a downed power line caused its closure.

Amtrak service between New York City and New Haven was suspended at approximately 10 a.m. on Friday, Jan. 11, when a catenary wire reported down near Pelham Bay in the Bronx. Service was restored in the afternoon.
