The accident occurred at about 9:50 a.m. between Exits 4 and 3 on I-84 westbound, blocking the left lane and causing delays in the area.
The accident was reported at about 9:50 a.m., and backups continued past 3 p.m. in the area while the accident was cleared.
Due to slushy conditions, a Subaru Impreza spun out multiple times in front of a box truck, police told the News Times. The truck driver tried to swerve to avoid the car, but hit the front of the car and overturned, the report said.
The driver and passenger in the truck sustained minor injuries, and the driver of the Subaru received a ticket, the News Times said.
