Connecticut Magazine has released a list of the state’s best eateries based on the culinary opinions of a panel of experts. Three Fairfield County locales made the list for the “Best Pizza” category.
Here are the Fairfield pizzerias that made the cut — or rather, the slice:
Frank Pepe Pizzeria Napoletana: With locations in New Haven, Fairfield, Danbury, Manchester, West Hartford, Waterbury and Mohegan Sun, it’s safe to say that Frank Pepe Pizzeria has certainly earned its reputation as a Connecticut staple. Frank Pepe’s dates all the way back to 1925, and after nearly a century of pizza perfection, they’ve truly mastered the subtle art that is authentic Italian pizza. Letizia’s Pizza: Letizia’s Pizza in Norwalk serves up countless selections that are big on taste but not on your budget.
