A lucky Connecticut woman is thousands of dollars richer after buying a winning lottery ticket at a Stop & Shop.
The winning 5X The Money 16th Edition ticket was bought in Fairfield County by Jennifer Wisnieski of Norwalk at the Stop & Shop #662 located in Norwalk at 380 Main Ave., according to the Connecticut Lottery.
The winning ticket was worth $50,000 and was purchased on Friday, Feb. 24, officials said.
