DANBURY, Conn. -- The Danbury Library Junior Services Department will offer programs for children and teens throughout August.
The library will hold a Teen Theater Workshop on Aug. 11 from 3:30 to 6:30 p.m. The free workshop is conducted by Ingrid Schaeffer and will include improvisations and games based on Shakespeare's "A Midsummer's Night's Dream" with costumes and props.
On Aug. 18, from 2 to 3 p.m., the CT Agricultural Experiment Station will give the educational program Bugs: The Good, the Bad, the Beautiful, and the Just Plain Ugly for children ages 5 and up.
Children entering kindergarten can attend a special story time on Aug. 19 from 1:30 to 2:30 p.m. At "I'm Going to Kindergarten," kids will hear stories about kindergarten and make a back-to-school craft.
