Two Concerts Coming Up At Danbury's Ives Center

DANBURY, Conn. -- Ives Concert Park will host two concerts during the end of July.

The 102nd Army Band will perform "A Salute to Our Nation's Heroes" on Sunday, July 24, at 2 p.m. The band is a National Guard unit stationed in Rockville that performs at sendoff ceremonies for deployed soldiers, the governor's inauguration ceremony, and other ceremonies, military graduations and dinner events. 

Tickets are not required for the 102nd Army Band concert. 

Beau Bolero, a Steely Dan tribute band, will perform on Saturday, July 30, at 7:30 p.m. The Connecticut-based band formed in 1980 to reproduce the music of Steely Dan during their extended absence from touring.

Tickets are $20 for adults and $10 for children. Click here to purchase tickets online

Patrons can bring lawn chairs or blankets to both concerts. 

Ives Concert Park is on the Western Connecticut State University Westside campus, 43 Lake Ave.
