Robeks Serves Up Smoothies, Juices At New Danbury Location

DANBURY, Conn. – Robeks, a smoothie and juice bar, recently held a grand opening for its new location at 109 Federal Road in Danbury.

Guests at the event included Andrew Wetmore of Danbury’s City Council and Rich Minor, the morning disc jockey on 98Q.

Robeks opened its first store in 1996, when founder David Robertson, a health-conscious Los Angeles native, was dismayed of the on-the-go, unhealthy food options. He set out to create a healthier place, deciding on a smoothie chain that serves filling and nutritious food. The 100 locations nationwide today push that healthier lifestyle.

The store’s menu features drinks with fruits, vegetables, and yogurt, plus coffee beverages. Fan Favorites on the menu include The Hummingbird, a blend of mango, strawberry and banana; and Mahalo Mango, a blend of mango, papaya juice and pineapple.
