DANBURY, Conn. -- After 70 years in business, the Danbury Hobby Center will close for good due to sluggish business, according to newstimes.com.
Karl LaLonde, who owned the hobby shop for more than 20 years said the inability to compete with pricing on the Internet was the biggest challenge, newstimes.com said.
Though the shop will close, LaLonde plans on opening a studio for artists to teach classes and hold workshops, newstimes.com reported.
