Four men in Connecticut who were arrested last year after police raided a Fairfield County brothel where minors were allegedly exploited now face federal charges, authorities said.

Oswaldo Ordonez-Ortega, 39; Edwin Quilli-Tacuri, 40; and Bryan Ismael Vasquez-Salinas, 23 — all of Danbury — along with Marco Robles, 40, of Brookfield, have been charged with sex trafficking of a minor, the U.S. Attorney for the District of Connecticut announced Thursday, April 10.

If convicted, each defendant faces a minimum sentence of 10 years in federal prison.

Danbury police and FBI agents raided an apartment on Chappelle Street on March 11, arresting the four men.

Inside, officers found two teenage girls — ages 15 and 16 — who told investigators they had been trafficked there, according to police.

The suspects were initially arrested on state charges following the raid. The girls were discovered in locked bedrooms during the operation, law enforcement officials said.

Federal investigators allege the men used encrypted messaging apps to advertise sexual services involving the teenagers.
