Serious Crash Hospitalizes Two In Danbury Police are asking the public to come forward if they witnessed a vehicle crash that left two seriously injured in Fairfield County. The crash took place around 7:51 p.m., Saturday, Nov. 28, in the area of White Turkey Road Ext. and Riverview Drive in Danbury. A preliminary investigation shows that a 2012 Nissan Altima was traveling southbound on White Turkey Ext. when a 2019 VW Jetta traveling northbound attempted to make a left turn, crossing into the opposing lane striking the Altima, said the Danbury Police Department.
