Nearly 9-Foot Long Boa Constrictor On Loose In Connecticut There is an eight-and-a-half-foot-long boa constrictor on the loose in Connecticut.  The snake was first spotted Sunday, Sept. 5, in Middlesex County by an East Haddam resident, slithering across a street during a thunderstorm, reported WTNH News 8. And while the snake is a first for the town, the snake's owner was surprised to see his snake on social media.
