Eduardo Concepcion, 30, of Bridgeport, died after being shot while sitting in a vehicle on Regency Terrace in Stratford, with another man, according to Stratford Police Capt. Frank Eannotti.

A preliminary investigation found that Concepcion and another man were sitting in a parked car when they were approached by two males on foot, Eannotti said.

The men exchanged words, and one produced a firearm and fired at least one shot, striking Concepcion, who was a passenger in the vehicle, Eannotti said.

He was transported to Bridgeport Hospital where he later died, police said.

The two men, including the shooter, fled the area.
