Joan Michale Chacua, of Norwalk, was arrested on Wednesday, Dec. 30, by members of the Norwalk Police Department Special Victim’s Unit, said Sgt. Sofia Gulino.
Chacua was arrested following an investigation into a sexual assault complaint involving a juvenile victim.
As a result of the investigation, an arrest warrant was issued for Chacua charging him with sexual assault and risk of injury to a minor.
Chacua was held on a $175,000 court set bond was issued a court date of Wednesday, Feb. 3, 2021.
