Bridgeport To Enjoy Warm Temps, Sunny Skies For Thanksgiving Holiday

FAIRFIELD COUNTY, Conn. -- The weather for the Thanksgiving holiday in Fairfield County just gets better as the weekend nears, according to forecasts by the National Weather Service.

Tuesday and Wednesday will feature partly sunny skies with highs in the mid-40s, and nighttime lows near freezing. 

By Thanksgiving Day, it will be almost balmy. The holiday will feature partly sunny skies with a high of 56 degrees and a low of 44. Those temperatures are 10 to 15 degrees warmer than normal for this time of year. 

The best weather of the week comes on Black Friday, when it may be too nice to stay indoors shopping. The forecast calls for mostly sunny skies, a high of 63 degrees and a nighttime low of 42. .

Saturday will bring a 40 percent chance of showers and a high of 49. Sunday will see a return of the sun but lower temperatures, with the high reaching only 43.
