The Bridgeport-Stamford-Norwalk area boasted the second highest median income of the cities surveyed at $82,084 and the third highest median earnings for residents with a bachelor's degree at $67,061.
The most educated city in the U.S. was Boulder, Colo., followed by Ann Arbor, Mich.; Corvallis, Ore.; Ithaca, N.Y.; and Lawrence, Kan., to round out the Top 5.
