Two of Shakespeare's Roman plays: the classic tragedy "Julius Caesar" and the fast-moving and delightful "The Comedy of Errors," directed by David Fritsch, are on stage now at John Jay Middle School.

In the plot, a case of mistaken intent results in war and a case of mistaken identity ends in hilarity. Click here to purchase tickets.

Performances are Friday, Nov. 15 at 7 p.m., and Saturday, Nov. 16 at 7 p.m., and Sunday, Nov. 17 at 1 p.m.

Tickets are $10 and can be purchased online through Brown Paper Tickets as well as at the door 30 minutes before each performance in the John Jay Middle School theater, 50 North Salem Road, Cross River.

Students Say Peers Matter In Notes

"Be Brave," "Love Yourself," and "You Are Enough" are some of the messages students in the Mind Your Mind Club at Rye Neck High School wrote on Post-it notes and placed around the building to show support for their peers.

“We know that school days can sometimes be stressful due to academic or social reasons. Our hope is that a small and thoughtful positive message may serve as a reminder to someone to take a deep breath, remember that feelings are temporary and that they are supported at school by friends and staff," said Nicole Crispinelli, school psychologist and adviser of the club.

Members raise money for mental health organizations and practice mindfulness through yoga and breathing exercises.

The club also brings awareness to mental health and advocates against social stigma.
