Anthony Martinez, 33, and Mari Vargas, 41, of Jane Street, were both charged with first-degree manslaughter after police said they admitted throwing objects at a Jeep Cherokee because the occupants had "disrespected," them. Both men also denied throwing the fatal brick that hit Morales in the head, said the Connecticut Post.

Another suspect, Christopher Fonseca, 28, is being treated for a mental illness, a fourth suspect involved in the attack is still at large, added the Connecticut Post.

Morales, 41, of William Street, was struck in the head by a brick thrown by someone in a group standing in front of a two-family home, police said.

The driver rushed Morales to Bridgeport Hospital, where he was pronounced dead on arrival, police said.

Vargas was released after posting $250,000 bond. Martinez was being held on $250,000 bond.
