Mykelle Bullock-Frye, 18, of Beechwood Ave., Bridgeport, was arrested at her home Wednesday, Oct. 9, without incident, said Trumbull Police Lt. Brian Weir

She was charged with larceny for her involvement in the stabbing of a Bridgeport man on Wednesday, Aug. 21, after he confronted Bullock-Frye and another woman, Alizen Elliston, who allegedly stole his vehicle and then used a credit left inside at the mall, Weir said.

The stabbing took place after the 22-year-old Bridgeport man learned that a credit card left in his stolen vehicle was being used at a store at the mall.

The man went to the mall and located his stolen vehicle in the mall parking lot with the two young women inside.

When the man approached the women, a confrontation took place, and Elliston allegedly pulled out a knife and stabbed him in the left side of his torso, Weir said.

The man was able to restrain Elliston and disarm her until the police arrived. Bullick-Frye fled the area on foot, he said.

The vehicle involved, a 2016 Ford Fusion, was stolen earlier when it was left parked on the street in Bridgeport, near Manhattan Avenue and Wayne Street, Weir said.

Bullock-Frye was held on a $40,000 court set bond and is scheduled to appear in Bridgeport Superior Court on Friday, Oct. 18.
