Rohan Brown, 29, of Beechwood Avenue, is being held on $200,000 bond on charges of home invasion, attempted first-degree assault, unlawful discharge of a weapon, criminal use of a firearm, criminal possession of a firearm, risk of injury to a minor and reckless endangerment, said the Connecticut Post.
The incident occurred after 5 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 15, when Brown came to the home and tried to force his way in, added the Connecticut Post.
As he was demanding to be let in, he was threatening the resident that he had "whistles," slang for having a gun, reported the Connecticut Post.
Brown managed to force his way in and struggled with the resident before being force out again. He fired the shots as he was leaving, the Post said.
When police arrived officers found gunshot holes in the door and several shells on the porch of the apartment house, said the Connecticut Post.
