Man Shot Multiple Times At Restaurant In Bridgeport

A 23-year-old man was shot multiple times at a restaurant in Bridgeport.

It happened shortly after midnight on Sunday, Sept. 15 at Flavorz Famous Chicken and Fish on 1653 Barnum Ave.

The victim was transported by ambulance to Bridgeport Hospital suffering from multiple gunshot wounds, Bridgeport PD Captain Brian Fitzgerald said.

The man was treated for his injuries and is expected to survive.

Detectives processed the crime scene inside the restaurant and are reviewing video of the incident, Fitzgerald said.
