Machete-Wielding Man Charged In Parking Lot Dispute In Bridgeport

BRIDGEPORT, Conn. -- A 31-year-old Bridgeport man was arrested over the weekend after police said he threatened another man with a machete outside a domestic violence center, according to the CTPost.com.

Luis Cruz, of Booth Street, pulled a machete out of the back of his sports utility vehicle Sunday afternoon and began waving it around at another driver after a dispute in the parking lot of the center, said CTPost.com.

Cruz was charged with possession of a dangerous weapon and possession of a weapon in a motor vehicle. He was later released after posting $35,000 bond.
