Jury Find Bridgeport Teen Not Guilty In Gangland-Style Shooting Death

BRIDGEPORT, Conn. -- A Bridgeport teenager was found not guilty Friday in a downtown gangland-style shooting death on Aug. 10, 2014, according to the Connecticut Post.

Kahlil Diaz, 17, was found not guilty of first-degree manslaughter and conspiracy by a jury after about four hours of deliberations, the Post reported.

The teen was accused of driving the car when the shooter jumped out at Park Avenue and Olive Street, and pistol-whipped and shot Ryan Hernandez, 21, to death, the Post said. 

Two months ago, Fabian "Fab" Francis, also 17, was found not guilty of being the shooter, said the Post.
