Couple Named In Apparent Murder-Suicide In Bridgeport

BRIDGEPORT, Conn. — Bridgeport police have released the names of the husband and wife killed in an apparent murder-suicide at Trumbull Gardens just after 7 p.m. Wednesday.

The evidence indicates that Keith Knox, 32, of Trumbull Avenue, shot his wife, Jennifer Knox, 33, before turning the gun on himself, said Lieutenant Christopher LaMaine.

Autopsies were scheduled for this morning.

Police were called to the scene at the Trumbull Gardens housing complex after a resident flagged down a passing officer and reported two deceased people in an apartment Wednesday evening.

Some news reports said the person who flagged down officers was the couple’s daughter.
