BRIDGEPORT, Conn. -- Police are asking for the public's help in identifying three people who robbed a Broadbridge Avenue convenience store at gunpoint last month.

The robbers, who all appear to be male, entered the business one after another on the evening of Feb.13.

According to security camera footage of the robbery released by police Monday, March 7, at least one of the robbers appeared to be armed with a handgun. He pointed the weapon at the store clerk several times. but the clerk was unharmed in the incident, police said.

After ordering the clerk of the Swisland Farm Food Store at 549 Broadbridge Ave. away from the register, two of the men then dragged the machine from behind the counter. The trio then left the store, walking away in an unknown direction.

Each robber wore dark-colored pants during the robbery. Two of the robbers wore a dark or a black hooded shirt tied tightly around their faces while the third wore a much lighter sweatshirt also tied at the face.

Anyone with information about the robbery or about those who committed the crime are urged to contact Bridgeport Police Detective F. Delbouno at 203-581-5201.
