BRIDGEPORT, Conn. – A Bridgeport man was charged with possession of more than 2 pounds of marijuana after a traffic stop in upstate New York on Tuesday, according to New York State Police.
Neville R. Boreland, 32, was pulled over on Interstate 90 in Schodack, N.Y., and was found with approximately 2.2 pounds of marijuana, police said. He was subsequently charged with second-degree criminal possession of marijuana, third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation, and multiple traffic violations, officials said.
Boreland was arraigned in the Town of Canaan Court and remanded to Columbia County Jail without bail, New York State Police said.
