He was born to the late Johnny and Pearl (Brinson) Hill Oct. 31, 1925, in Mt. Vernon, Georgia. He was a materials handler with Casco for many years.
He is survived by his sons, Willie Hill, Jr.(Omaira) and Tony Williams; daughters Carolyn (Samuel), Phills and Lydia (Michael) Hinton; 16 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; sisters, Ernestine Benson and Dorothy Coates; niece, Patricia Benson; nephew, Harmon Benson; and a host of other family and friends.
A service of celebration will be held Friday at 11 a.m. at the funeral home. Friends may greet the family from 10 a.m. until time of service at the funeral home. Interment will immediately follow the service in the Veteran's Cemetery, Middletown. Arrangements have been entrusted to George J. Peterson Funeral Home, 1041 Noble Ave., Bridgeport.
