BRIDGEPORT, Conn. – Kevin S. Redmond, 52, of Bridgeport, husband of Carol Grabowski, died Friday, Aug. 7.
Redmond was born Sept. 27, 1962, in Bridgeport, son of the late George and Mildred (Schmidlin) Redmond, and had been a lifelong area resident. He was a truck driver by trade, an avid Washington Redskin fan and loved canoeing, camping and spending time with his friends and family.
Survivors, in addition to his wife, include his son, Kevin Redmond; 10 siblings; and many nieces, nephews and great-nieces and great-nephews.
He was predeceased by two brothers and a brother-in-law.
Friends may visit with the family Wednesday, Aug. 12 from 4-7 p.m. in the William R. McDonald Funeral Home, 2591 Main St., Stratford, Connecticut; A funeral service will be held Thursday, Aug. 13 at 11 a.m. by meeting directly at Holy Name of Jesus Church, 1950 Barnum Ave., Stratford, Connecticut. Interment will follow in Saint John's Cemetery, Monroe.
