BRIDGEPORT, Conn. -- Hedwig Zebrowski Calus died Friday at her Bridgeport home. She was 94.
Born to Walter and Alice Glinka Zebrowski, Calus spent much of her career working for General Electric and Remington Arms.
A devout Roman Catholic, she was an active and longtime member of St. Michael the Archangel Church on Pulaski Street.
Calus was married to husband, Al G. Calus, for 68 years.
She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Barbara and Gerald Aubin of Trumball, her son and daughter-in-law, Thomas and Linda Calus of West Haven, along with numerous grandchildren, in-laws, nieces and nephews.
In addiiton to her husband, the 94-year-old was predeceased by her parents, her brothers Charles, John, Walter and Alphonse (Zeke) Zebrowski, and her sisters Theresa Pawlicki and Jessie Piascik.
A burial Mass will be celebrated at St. Michael the Archangel Church at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 13. Interment will follow at St. Michael Cemetery in Stratford.
Those wishing to honor Calus can donate to St. Michael Church, St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital, Vitas Hospice or the National MS Society.
