Something Fishy Planned For Former Chubby's In Bridgeport

BRIDGEPORT, Conn. — The bustling restaurant scene along Black Rock’s Fairfield Avenue will welcome a new tenant this summer.

Mr. Crab Seafood & Bar will soon open in the space formerly home to Chubby's Pub in the Black Rock section of Bridgeport.

Mr. Crab Seafood & Bar is expected to open this summer in the space most recently occupied by the popular Chubby’s Pub.

Chubby’s owner Chris Delmonico and business partner Niall O’Neill will turn their attention to their more recent ventures, Lazy Dog Tavern in Stratford and Oxford’s Old Dog Tavern, as well as The Crabby Dog Tavern, set to open on Beach Drive in Stratford soon.
