ID Released For Bridgeport Man Shot, Killed In Front Of Production Studio

Police have released the identity of a 37-year-old Fairfield County man who was gunned down in front of a studio.

Baron Goulbourne was killed in Bridgeport around 11:10 pm, Saturday, May 6 in front of a content production studio at 22 Vine St., said Capt. Kevin Gilleran of the Bridgeport Police.

Goulbourne was found when Bridgeport Police responded to the area after receiving a ShotSpotter notification and 911 calls.

Upon arrival, officers located Goulbourne laying on the ground just outside the gated parking lot of 22 Vine Street (Scotch Bonnett Studio). Medics arrived and pronounced him deceased, Gilleran said.

The Detective Bureau Homicide Squad has responded and taken charge of the investigation. 

"The victim appears to be the primary target of this violent assault," Gilleran said.
