Bridgeport's St. Vincent's Offers Lectures On Women's Health In Stratford

BRIDGEPORT, Conn. -- St. Vincent's Medical Center's newly opened Stratford location will present several free health and wellness education programs.

Dr. Rebecca Streeter will present "Maintaining a Heart-Healthy Lifestyle" at 6 p.m. Feb. 23. The free program will cover prioritizing heart health and avoiding heart disease. 

Pharmacist Jennifer Dizney will give an overview on medications for COPD, inhaler techniques, how to use a spacer and more on from 12:30-2:30 p.m. Feb. 25.

The Preparing to Breastfeed class will be the second Saturday of every month from noon to 2 p.m. To register, visit info.stvincents.org/preparingtobreastfeed or call 203-576-6087.

The Breastfeeding Support Group meets the last Saturday of each month from 10 a.m. to noon. To register, visit info.stvincents.org/breastfeedingsupport.

The Diabetes Prevention Program takes place at 6 p.m. Thursdays. Call 203-375-5844 Ext. 32 for registration information.
