CT Man Gave High Schooler Alcohol, Forcibly Raped Them: Jury Finds

A 39-year-old New Britain man was found guilty of giving a high school student alcohol and sexually attacking them, authorities said.

Michael Niedzwiecki was found guilty on Thursday, April 10, of sexual assault in the first degree and giving alcohol to a minor, the State's Attorney's Office said.

A jury convicted Niedzwiecki after being told he forcibly sexually assaulted the victim, prosecutors said.

He will be sentenced on June 18.

Senior Assistant State’s Attorney Sara Greene is prosecuting the case with the assistance of Inspector David Rohon.
