“We are thrilled to bring ShopRite to this new location in Danbury," said Sam Cingari, vice president of Grade A Market. "We are a family business committed to the families we serve in the communities where our ShopRite stores operate in Connecticut."

The 63,000-square-foot supermarket is at 1 Padanaram Road and will be operated by the Cingari family and Grade A Market Inc.

The completely renovated store will offer freshly prepared sushi, salad, made-to-order sandwiches, a from-scratch buffet, a hot buffet, an olive bar, a meat department with trained butchers, a floral shop, full-service deli and coffee.

ShopRite is currently accepting job applications for full- and part-time workers.

To mark the Aug. 3 grand opening, the Cingari family will make a special donation to the Connecticut Food Bank.

The store will be open daily from 7 a.m. to 11 p.m.

Sam Cingari’s father, Salvatore Cingari, established the Grade A Market and opened his first grocery storefront in 1943. Today, the business includes three generations of the Cingaris, who help run the family’s 11 ShopRite stores in Connecticut, including locations in Brookfield, Fairfield Norwalk, Shelton and Stamford.
