Atlantic City Cop Sexually Assaults Woman After Writing Her Ticket At Casino: Prosecutor A 24-year-old Egg Harbor Township resident and Atlantic City police officer was arrested and charged on Thursday, April 3, with sexually assaulting a woman last September, authorities said. On Saturday, Sept. 13, 2024, a woman told Atlantic City police she was sexually assaulted by Officer Joshua Munyon, after he had previously served her with a summons for being intoxicated at the Tropicana Casino, the Atlantic City Prosecutor's Office said. The adult man, whose name was not provided, was taken to University Hospital, following the blaze on the 200 block of South 11th Street, the Essex County Prosecutor's Office said. Driver Dies After Crashing Into Home, Setting It Ablaze: Manalapan PD A 57-year-old Englishtown man was killed after the vehicle he was driving crashed into a home, starting a fire on the morning of Tuesday, April 1 in Manalapan, authorities said. East Orange Woman Fatally Struck By Vehicle In Orange: Prosecutor A 76-year-old East Orange woman was fatally struck by a vehicle in Orange on Wednesday, April 2, authorities said. Lois Scott was crossing northbound over Main Street, when a Jeep Wrangler traveling northbound on South Jefferson Street turning left onto Main Street stuck her in the crosswalk, the Essex County Prosecutor's Office said. Suspect Apprehended After Striking Girl With Vehicle, Fleeing Scene: Newark PD A 51-year-old Newark man was apprehended after he struck a girl with his vehicle and fled the scene on Tuesday, April 1, authorities said. At 7:36 a.m., officers responded to Irvine Turner Boulevard and Spruce Street after a 9-year-old girl was struck by a vehicle, Newark Public Safety Director Emanuel Miranda said.
