Patty Maloney, the trailblazing actress from upstate New York who lit up television screens for decades, has died at the age of 89, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
The beloved character actress known for her roles in Far Out Space Nuts, Little House on the Prairie, and the Star Wars Holiday Special, died Monday, March 31, in hospice care after suffering multiple strokes, her brother Dave Myrabo told the outlet.

A mother and a daughter were arrested and charged on Tuesday, April 1, after they lied about a fatal crash in Jersey City last year that killed a 43-year-old motorcyclist.
On Thursday, Oct. 31, at 8:55 a.m., Jersey City police responded to a motorcycle crash at Sip Avenue and Routes 1 and 9, Hudson County Prosecutor Esther Suarez said.
