A 19-year-old Queens man was arrested and charged after eluding Newark police for a social media video, authorities said.
On Thursday, April 11 at 1:16 a.m., police were patrolling Broad Street and Market Street when they observed a black BMW that traveled around their vehicle at a high rate of speed with no license plates, Newark Public Safety Director Fritz G. Fragé said.

A 30-year-old man died and his 6-year-old front seat front seat passenger seriously hurt in a Fauquier County crash over the weekend, police said.
Joshua A Farmer, of Amissville, was airlifted to INOVA Fairfax after rear-ending a Freightliner tractor-trailer that was stopped at a red light in a 2017 Honda Accord, just before 6 p.m. on Route 29 (Lee Highway) on Sunday, May 19, Virginia State Police said.
Farmer was not wearing a seatbelt. A 6-year-old girl in the front seat was not in a proper child restraint device, police said. She was taken to Fauquier Health for treatment.

Mini-Bike Rider, 19, Killed In Collision With Van In Evesham
A 19-year-old mini-bike rider was killed when he collided with a van, authorities said.
Justin Rapp, of Marlton, died in the crash, according to Evesham police.
On Monday, May 20, at approximately 10:20 p.m., the Evesham Police Department responded to Evesboro Medford Road and Tenby Lane for a motor vehicle collision.
Upon arrival, it was determined that a gas-powered mini-bike and van were involved in a collision.
Rapp was treated at the scene, and transported to Virtua Hospital Marlton, where he later died of his injuries, police said.

23 Animals Found Neglected, Malnourished In Schuylkill County Home: Troopers (Photos)
Twenty-three animals living in “severe neglect” were removed from a Coaldale home on Monday, May 20, state police said in a release.
Charges are pending against the 69-year-old homeowner, according to troopers.
Investigators said the animals — including 17 dogs, two cats, two birds, and one turtle — were found “in a state of severe neglect, showing signs of malnutrition, untreated medical conditions, and poor living conditions.”
