A Fairfield County man is facing a host of charges, including operating under the influence, following a crash with his children in the car in which he had to be revived with Narcan, police say.
The incident occurred on I-95 in Westport on Thursday, Oct. 26, 2023.

Man Accused Of Exposing Himself To Group Of Girls In Westport
A Fairfield County man has been charged with allegedly exposing his genitals to three young teens on a street.
The incident took place in Westport around 7 p.m. on Sunday, June 5, in the area of 49 Main St., police said.
Westport Police officers responded to 49 Main Street on a report of indecent exposure. The suspect, Pema Tamang, age 39, address unknown, was quickly located and detained, said Lt. David Wolf.
It was alleged that Tamang exposed his genitals while staring at three females under the age of 16, Wolf said.

Westport Teacher Accused Of Inappropriately Touching Student
A 72-year-old Fairfield County teacher has been charged with sexual assault for allegedly touching a student inappropriately at an area middle school last year.
The incident took place in Westport at Bedford Middle School on Thursday, Jan. 27, said Lt. David Wolf of the Westport Police Department.
Following the accusation, in which a student told police that engineering and design teacher Arthur Ellis, age 72, of Westerly, Rhode Island, had inappropriately touched them in December 2021, an extensive investigation began, Wolf said.

IDs Released For Man Charged, Unionville Victim Killed While Lying In Bed
Police have identified a Connecticut man who was shot and killed while lying in bed with his pregnant fiancé.
The Hartford County incident happened around 11 p.m., Wednesday, March 16 in the borough of Unionville, located in the Town of Farmington.
When officers arrived on the scene, they found Jorge Tejada Camacho, age 32, lying in bed with multiple gunshot wounds. He was rushed to St. Francis Hospital where he was pronounced dead, McKenzie said, said Lt. Tim McKenzie, of the Farmington Police.
He was allegedly shot by 24-year-old Deondre Linder, also of Unionville.

CT Man Pours Boiling Water On Sleeping Woman, Baby, Police Say
A Connecticut man is behind bars after allegedly pouring boiling water on a woman and a baby, police announced.
Tiston Ellis, age 25, of Hartford, was arrested Wednesday, Nov. 17, and charged with:
Assault;
Risk of injury to a child;
Reckless endangerment.
The incident took place when the woman and infant were sleeping, said Lt. Aaron Boisvert, of the Hartford Police.
Both suffered first and second-degree burns, he said.
Boisvert would not release any more information due to the domestic nature of the crime.

Teen Home Invasion Suspect Caught After Chase In Fairfield County
A teen is facing a variety of charges after allegedly forcing his way into a Fairfield County home with several other men.
Levin Placencia, age 19, was arrested following the incident on Friday, March 12, after he and several other men forced their way into a home on Main Street in Danbury, said Det. Lt. Mark Williams.
While inside the residence, Placencia, of Danbury, and the other men assaulted an adult resident, and damaged property before being forced from the residence as police arrived on the scene, Williams said.

Middletown Domestic Violence Murder Suspect Captured in Georgia; Bond Set To $1.5M
A man accused of stabbing his significant other to death has been arrested in Georgia.
William Bigaud, Jr., 37, allegedly fled the state after a woman was found dead in a Green Street apartment in Middletown on June 8. Police said her death stemmed from a “domestic violence” incident.
Two days after the killing, Bigaud was located in Georgia, police said, and transported back to Connecticut.
He is being held on $1.5 million bond and will make a court appearance Friday,, Aug. 7.
Bigaud is being charged with: risk of injury to a child, home invasion class A felony, and murder.
Body of Bridgeport Boy Found in Oxford Woods; Suspect Arrested
The body of a missing Bridgeport boy has been found in Oxford.
Jose Nunez, 14, of Bridgeport, has been missing since Tuesday, July 28. His body was discovered, dead, in a wooded area in Oxford off Wyant Road, said Bridgeport police.
Dante Willoughby, 19, of Bridgeport, has been arrested in connection with Nunez’s death, police said. He was arrested during a traffic stop on Route 67 in Oxford, Wednesday, July 29, police said.
An autopsy report revealed that Nunez was killed by strangulation and the matter has officially been deemed a homicide, police said.

Prominent Fairfield Eye Doctor Arrested For Sex Assault In Front Of Child, Police Say
A prominent Fairfield eye doctor has been charged with four counts of sexual assault and risk of injury to a child, police said.
Ian Gorovoy, 35, of Fairfield, was arrested Saturday, Jan. 11, and charged after he allegedly had unwanted sexual contact with an adult female victim in the presence of a child, said Fairfield Police Capt. Robert Kalamaras.
Gorovoy turned himself in at Fairfield Police Headquarters on Saturday where he was processed and released on a no-contact protective order after posting a $150,000 court set bond, Kalamaras said.
Westchester Man Wanted For Alleged Sexual Assault Of New Canaan Juvenile Nabbed, Police Say
A Westchester man wanted for the sexual assault of a minor has been extradited back to Fairfield County after being picked up by the FBI.
Leland Robinson, 31, of Mount Vernon, was arrested on Monday, Jan. 6, on a warrant out of New Canaan for the alleged sexual assault of a juvenile, said, Lt. Jason Ferraro of the New Canaan Police.
Robinson was first arrested by New Canaan Police in October of last year when officers responded to a home for a report of a suspicious man in a driveway.
