'Forever Loved': Northeast Tech Senior Killed In Crash Remembered As Loving, Caring Friend
Friends and family of an 18-year-old high school senior from Malden who died in a Middleton crash last week said he was someone you could always rely on.
Robert “Bobby” Giardino, 18, died Wednesday night, Dec. 6, after the pickup truck he was driving with three teens veered off the road into the woods, hit several trees, and rolled onto its roof, MassLive reported.
Besides Giardino, another 18-year-old, and two 17-year-olds were rushed to local hospitals. Officials have not released their names or conditions.

A four-alarm fire racked a building, closing businesses but narrowly avoiding spreading to neighboring structures, officials say.
A person spotted a fire at Charlie's On Main, a pizzeria located at 340 Main Street, from outside the building at approximately 4 p.m. on Sunday, May 14, according to the Wakefield Fire Department.

Hundreds of students of Maine Maritime Academy gathered over the weekend to honor four of their classmates who were killed in an early morning crash in eastern Maine on Saturday, Dec. 10, that left a Long Island resident seriously injured, reports said.
Paramedics rushed the driver, Joshua Goncalves-Radding, age 20, of Babylon, along with passengers Noelle Tavares of North Falmouth, Massachusetts, and Dominick Gecoya of Middleton, Massachusetts, also both 20 years old, to the hospital to treat their injuries from the wreck, ABC6 said. Hundreds of students of Maine Maritime Academy gathered over the weekend to honor four of their classmates who were killed in an early morning crash on Saturday, Dec. 10, including two young men from Massachusetts, reports said.
