Cleaning Crew Carjacked, K9 Helps Capture Suspects In Fredericksburg, Police Say
A 21-year-old man and a juvenile have been arrested in a Fredericksburg carjacking, police said.
Officers were called to Carl D. Silver Parkway for the carjacking where a cleaning crew had been forced from their car at knifepoint on May 24, police said.
Joseph Wells, 21, of Stafford, and a juvenile both fled the area, authorities said.
K9 Officer DeCilles initiated a successful track, leading to both suspects hiding in a nearby field with difficult terrain. They were arrested without incident.

A 24-year-old man who had been wanted since April 12 in an armed robbery gone wrong in Bailey's Crossroads has been arrested, police said.
Abner Neftali Selen Barrera approached a man getting out of his car on Lake Street in Bailey's Crossroads around 5 a.m. on Friday, April 12, then pulled out a gun and demanded his property, police said.
A struggle ensued and the victim was shot in the lower body, and hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries, police said. Barrera, of Del Ray, was identified as a suspect and arrested in Alexandria on Tuesday, April 30, police said.

Sang Kyun Oh, of Woodbridge, and a 43-year-old acquaintance were arguing over vehicle parts at Aggressive Customs on Highams Court, the evening of Monday, March 4, Prince William County police said.

An 18-year-old Arlington woman was arrested for assaulting police after stealing a bicycle from a home, authorities said.
Angelita Lopez broke into a home on the 1700 block of S. Walter Reed Drive around 7:15 p.m. on March 17, where she was confronted by one victim, county police said.
Lopez stole a bicycle then fled the scene. A second victim found Lopez and the bike on 18th Street S. and S. Monroe Street and approached her, police said.

A 21-year-old man has been charged with fatally shooting one man and wounding another during a fight in Woodbridge, authorities said.
Zaire Lee Davis, address unknown, was charged with murder on Thursday, Jan. 25, according to Prince William Police Department.
Davis was sought in connection with the killing of Akeem Rashaud Williams, 27, of Woodbridge, police said.
The shooting followed an ongoing dispute between the three men and took place in the 13900 block of Richmond Hwy. in Woodbridge on Jan. 16.

Two people were arrested in a fight that broke out in the parking lot of a Leesburg bar overnight, police said.
